Types of Joint Ventures?

I’m Trying to figure out how to best structure a joint venture with another small business. Any help will be great.
Thanks

The easy answer is, there is no such structure. Joint ventures are typically not worth the trouble. Partners have different ideas and expectations, so managing a joint venture can turn into a nightmare on a very short notice. Consider alternatives, such as contractual realtionship or starting a new company.

aproach a number of small businesses and pitch your idea and see which ones like it and go from there.
